Review Notes


RMQS enables Reviewers to raise review notes for Operators on any queries that they have reviewed. The audit log keeps track of these actions so the team knows what has been raised and addressed prior to the query being resolved.

The Review Notes tab is only visible to Risk Management Team Members.


Check for review notes

You can see all Review Notes related to the query by navigating the Review Notes tab on the query sub-menu. You can also quickly see whether there are open review notes on the query because that menu item will be highlighted if that is the case.


Raise a Review Note

As a Reviewer, on the Review Notes screen:

  • Click “Add Review Note”
  • Enter the details of your review note
  • Click “Add”
  • Repeat the process for all review notes that you wish to add

Once all your review notes have been added, click the 'Send back to Operator' button so that the query can be sent back to the operator. The operator will only receive an email and a task notifying them of the review note(s) once you click that button.

At this point, the query status will be changed to “In Progress”.


Address a Review Note

As an Operator, on the Review Notes screen:

  • Click the edit icon alongside the review note you wish to address
  • Enter the details of the actions taken
  • Change the status of the review notes to “Addressed”
  • Click “Save”
  • Repeat the process for all review notes you have addressed

Once all the review notes have been addressed, click the 'Send back to Reviewer' button so that the query can be sent back to the reviewer. The reviewer will only receive an email and a task notifying them of the action once you click that button.

At this point, the query status will be changed to “Waiting for reviewer input” and only the Reviewer will be able to work on it until it is either sent back to the Operator or closed by the reviewer.

If you had resolved all queries, you can immediately close (resolve) the query without sending it back to the reviewer.


Resolve a Review Note

As a Reviewer or Operator, on the Review Notes screen:

  • Click the edit icon alongside the review note you wish to mark as resolved
  • Change the status of the review notes to “Resolved”
  • Click “Save”
  • Repeat the process for all review notes you wish to resolve

Once all the review notes have been addressed, click the 'Send back to Operator' or close the query.


Delete all Review Notes

As a Reviewer or Operator, on the Review Notes screen:

  • Either click the trash can icon alongside the review note you wish to delete OR
  • Click “Delete all Review Notes”
