Risk Manager

Set the Master Configuration


Use the sections on this page to set user permissions and to define the values that are displayed in the various selection boxes across the webapp. You can also set the labels and colour scheme for various items according to your organisation's practices.

To access the master configuration settings, navigate to “Main Configuration” under the Configure menu.


Main Configuration Settings

Select your preferred settings by clicking on the box next to each option. Click on “Save Configuration” once you have completed your selection.


Impact

Navigate to “Impact” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add ratings and descriptors for the allowable Impact Ratings that your organisation uses.

Add Impact Rating

  • Click on “Add Impact Rating”
  • Use the arrows to set the score
  • Type in a label
  • Use the dropdown arrows to set the background colour, as well as the font colour to display for the score.
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Impact Rating

  • To edit an impact rating, click on the “edit” icon alongside the relevant rating and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove an impact rating, click on the “delete” icon alongside the relevant rating and confirm the action.

Likelihood

Navigate to “Likelihood” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add ratings and qualifying criteria for the allowable Likelihood Ratings that your organisation uses.

Add Likelihood Rating

  • Click on “Add Likelihood Rating”
  • Use the arrows to set the score
  • Type in a label
  • Use the dropdown arrows to set the background colour, as well as the font colour to display for the score
  • Type in Qualifying Criteria
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Likelihood Rating

  • To edit a likelihood rating, click on the “edit” icon alongside the relevant rating and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove a likelihood rating, click on the “delete” icon alongside the relevant rating and confirm the action.

Inherent Risk Labels

Navigate to “Inherent Risk Labels” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add label rules for the allowable Inherent Risk Ratings that your organisation uses.

Add Inherent Risk Label

  • Click on “Add Inherent Risk Label”
  • Use the drop down arrows to select what the resulting score is between
  • Type in what the label is between those scores
  • Use the drop down arrows to select the cell and the font colours
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Inherent Risk Label

  • To edit an inherent risk label, click on the “edit” icon alongside the relevant label and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove an inherent risk label, click on the “delete” icon alongside the relevant label and confirm the action.

Control Effectiveness Rating

Navigate to “Control Effectiveness Ratings” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add ratings and descriptors for the allowable Control Ratings that your organisation uses.

Add Control Effectiveness Rating

  • Click on “Add Control Rating”
  • Use the arrows to set a score
  • Type in a label
  • Use the dropdown arrows to set the background colour, as well as the font colour to display for the score
  • Type in a description
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Control Effectiveness Rating

  • To edit a control effectiveness rating, click the “edit” icon alongside the relevant rating and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove a control effectiveness rating, click the “delete” icon alongside the relevant rating and confirm the action.

Calculated Control Score Labels

Navigate to “Calculated Control Score Labels” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add multiplier rules for the allowable Calculated Control Scores that your organisation uses.

Add Calculated Control Score Label

  • Click on “Add Control Score Label”
  • Use the arrows to select what the resulting risk score is between
  • Type in the label
  • Type in what the residual risk multiplier will be
  • Use the dropdown arrows to set the cell colour, as well as the font colour
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Calculated Control Score Labels

  • To edit a calculated control score label, click the “edit” icon alongside the relevant label and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove a calculated control score label, click the “delete” icon alongside the relevant label and confirm the action.

Residual Risk Labels

Navigate to “Residual Risk Labels” on the Main Configuration page. Use this to add label rules and target scores for the allowable Residual Risk Labels that your organisation uses.

Add Residual Risk Labels

  • Click on “Add Residual Risk Label”
  • Use the arrows to select what the resulting risk score is between
  • Type in the label
  • Use the dropdown arrows to set the cell colour, as well as the font colour
  • Use the arrows to select which score to apply when the rating is used for the Target Score drop down list
  • Click on “Add”



Edit or Delete Residual Risk Labels

  • To edit a residual risk label, click the “edit” icon alongside the relevant label and complete the details in the modal. Click on “Save Changes”
  • To remove a residual risk label, click the “delete” icon alongside the relevant label and confirm the action.
